Basic Pottery Wheel 60+
Tuesdays 1 pm -3 pm 10/17 – 12/12
Instructor: Mike Kujawa the Elder
Description: This class is geared toward people aged 60 years or older. It introduces all of the basic skills necessary to throw on a pottery wheel including clay prep, centering, pulling, trimming, attaching handles, and basic glazing techniques. In addition to experiencing the steps necessary to take a piece of clay to a finished product, students will be introduced to types of clay, and form and function of shapes.
